1st "How to Speak" Salon, March 12th, 2017

In this English version of "How to Speak" Salon, each participant will be required to make an impromptu speech on a topic which will be provided on the spot, then answer questions from his listeners, and receive their feedbacks on the contents of the speech and how effectively he dealt with questions. This will be a great opportunity for the participant to improve his communication skills. The two-hour event will be conducted in English only.

Target Participants: Native or non-native** speakers of English who are interested in improving skills on how to speak, including:
* how to convey a message clearly and convincingly,
* how to assert oneself with confidence,
* how to stay coolheaded when coping with rebuttals and criticisms,
* how to overcome stage fright,
* how to be impressive and remembered as a fun person to speak with, and
* how to improve the quality of human relationships at work, home or else.

** A non-native speaker of English whose English proficiency level is as good as or higher than STEP EIKEN Grade Pre-1 or TOEIC 800 will be able to enjoy the meeting.

Time: 4 pm to 6 pm

Venue: A meeting room near Shinjuku San-chome Station (Tokyo Metro). Details will be sent to the participants.

Number of Participants: Up to six

Participation Fee: Approx. 1,500 yen (A room charge will be equally divided with the number of participants)
